As the founder of Plus Tours GmbH, I, Ilmars, am your guide to experiencing the very best of Switzerland. My journey in tourism began in my native Latvia, where I pursued academic studies and gained professional experience in tour operations. Moving with my family to the stunning landscapes of Switzerland sparked my inspiration to create this company. My driving force is a genuine desire to connect visitors with the incredible beauty and rich history of this country.
I've been a lifelong enthusiast of nature and exploration, and one of my favorite pastimes is fishing. It's a passion I enthusiastically share through the guided fishing trips offered by Plus Tours. My extensive knowledge of Swiss history, gained through years of dedicated reading, allows me to enrich my tours with fascinating insights and stories.
Family is central to my life, and I am a devoted father to my two children, Monika and Markuss. I also maintain a strong connection to my roots as an active member of the Latvian community here in Switzerland, where I proudly participate in Latvian folk dance.
